Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Project Support Engineer in the Midlands with home-based coverage across the North of England. You will monitor installations on site, liaise with architects, contractors and clients, and help keep major lift projects on schedule, on budget and to high safety standards.

The role involves regular site visits, technical guidance to site teams, and close collaboration with Project Managers to drive successful project outcomes in a dynamic, family-owned manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in lift industry or related installation projects.
• Strong planning and coordination capabilities.
• Excellent communication with architects, site teams and clients.
• Ability to translate technical details into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate key project milestones from pre-start to testing and handover.
• Carry out regular site visits to monitor installation progress, safety compliance and quality.
• Build strong relationships with customers, site teams and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.
• Support Project Managers with installation, commissioning and testing activities to keep projects on schedule.
• Provide technical guidance and practical solutions while ensuring health and safety standards.
