Job summary

T H White Construction is seeking a skilled Service Technician / Plant Fitter to join our aftersales team. This is a mobile, home-based role supporting customers with servicing, repairs and breakdowns across our UK territories.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised qualification and have strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems on heavy machines. A customer-focused attitude and a full UK driving licence are essential, with clear progression routes within a

Qualifications

• Qualified with NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in construction machinery or automotive.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems on heavy machines.
• Experience on construction machines or similar equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
• Diagnostic work across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out on-site repairs
• Pre-delivery inspections and warranty support
