Job summary

Staffbase Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK on a home-based basis, servicing and repairing CNC woodworking machinery. You will handle electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis and commissioning, with occasional nights away and door-to-door pay.

The ideal candidate is an multiskilled engineer with electrical bias, NVQ3/HNC in electrical engineering and 17th/18th edition certification, plus strong customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias multiskilled engineer
• Experience in field service of automated machinery
• Strong fault-finding across electrical & control systems
• Good customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Electrical installations, fault finding and repair
• Read 415V and 24V circuits; read schematics/drawings
• Machine installation and commissioning
• PLC fault finding and repair
• Mechanical maintenance and part replacement
