Job summary

CV Technical is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain CNC machinery and automated equipment across the UK and internationally. You will travel to customer sites to perform fault finding, diagnostics and technical support, delivering a high standard of customer service and hands-on problem solving.

The role requires a strong CNC, machine tool and laser processing background, with a willingness to travel abroad and work independently from home base.

Qualifications

• Previous Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Commissioning Engineer experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working with CNC machinery or steel processing equipment.
• CNC laser experience and PLC fault-finding capability.
• Knowledge of servo drives, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Willingness to travel UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and fault finding on CNC machinery at customer sites.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on automated systems.
• Work with CNC control systems and PLC-based equipment.
• Attend customer sites UK-wide and internationally when required.
• Provide professional, technically focused service and support.
