Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Healthcare Assistant to join the Bodmin & Three Harbours team. The role focuses on delivering nursing care to adults at home, including end-of-life care, across Bodmin, Lostwithiel, Par and Fowey areas.

Successful candidates will work mostly alone with team support, and travel across Cornwall to visit patients, following a structured community nursing rota and development opportunities within the service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in care or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of experience in care setting.
• Additional relevant training in Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• To carry out assigned tasks including personal care to patients at end-of-life, wound care and venepuncture under supervision.
• Work as a member of the community nursing team with a flexible rota covering 8am–10pm with on-call duties.
