Job summary

The Community Healthcare Assistant role in Bodmin & Three Harbours is a part-time position (30 hours per week) including evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota. Based at Bodmin Health Office, you will deliver nursing care to adults in their own homes, including end-of-life care, within a supportive community team.

The post requires NVQ Level 3 in care or equivalent, proven care experience and additional healthcare training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in care or equivalent experience
• Evidence of experience in care setting
• Additional relevant training in Healthcare

Responsibilities

• To carry out assigned tasks including personal care to patients at the end of their lives, wound care and venepuncture
• Work within a community nursing team with flexible rota covering 8am–10pm and on-call arrangements
• Provide nursing care to adults in their own homes, including end-of-life care
