Job summary

Leaders in Care is helping a leading UK specialist healthcare provider recruit a Community Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver SACT in patients’ homes around Milton Keynes. You’ll manage a defined caseload with autonomy, supported by a strong clinical team and governance structure.

The role offers a salary up to £44,500, a company car or car allowance, and a Monday–Friday pattern with no Nights or bank holidays. NMC registration, private medical cover and pension are included as part of a

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration (Adult Nurse/RGN)
• Experience delivering chemotherapy or SACT treatments
• Competency in the administration of cytotoxic drugs
• Strong cannulation and venous access skills
• Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
• A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Delivering systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and chemotherapy treatments within patients' homes
• Administering oncology and haematology treatments safely and in line with national guidelines
• Completing holistic clinical assessments before every treatment
• Cannulation, venepuncture and vascular access management
• Monitoring patients throughout treatment and responding appropriately to any adverse reactions
• Maintaining accurate electronic patient records and documentation
• Providing education, reassurance and ongoing support to patients and their families
• Working collaboratively with hospitals, consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care
