Job summary

Leaders in Care is recruiting for a Community Chemotherapy Nurse to work in the Walsall area, delivering SACT and chemotherapy in patients' homes, with a Monday-Friday, full-time schedule. You’ll manage your own caseload, have autonomy, and benefit from a generous package including up to £44,500 salary and a Company Car or £4,887.50 car allowance.

No nights, weekends or bank holidays; active NMC registration required; SACT Passport; full UK driving licence; join a leading specialist healthcare

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration as an Adult Nurse/RGN.
• Completed and signed-off SACT Passport.
• Current experience delivering chemotherapy/SACT.
• Competent in the administration of cytotoxic drugs.
• Strong cannulation and venous access skills.
• Confident working autonomously.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering SACT and chemotherapy treatments in patients' homes.
• Completing clinical assessments before treatment.
• Cannulation, venepuncture and vascular access management.
• Monitoring patients and managing adverse reactions.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Supporting and educating patients and their families.
• Working closely with hospitals, consultants and MDTs.
