Job summary

Leaders in Care is seeking an experienced Community Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver cancer treatment in patients' homes across Milton Keynes. You will manage a personal caseload with autonomy, performing chemo administrations and assessing patients throughout the treatment journey.

The Role As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will:

• Deliver chemotherapy treatments safely within patients' homes across Milton Keynes.
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments before and during treatment
• Administer IV chemotherapy and undertake cannulation and phlebotomy
• Monitor patients throughout treatment and respond appropriately to adverse reactions
• Manage your own patient caseload and plan your working day effectively
• Build strong relationships with patients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care

About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration
• Experience administering chemotherapy within a hospital or community setting
• SACT Passport or recognised chemotherapy qualification preferred
• Competency in IV therapy, cannulation and phlebotomy
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Confidence working autonomously in the community
• Full UK driving licence
