Job summary

Community Chemotherapy Nurse in North Somerset & Bristol is sought to manage a caseload from patients' homes, delivering safe, high-quality SACT and chemotherapy with exceptional patient experience.

The role offers a Monday-Friday pattern with no nights or weekends, up to £44,500, and a choice of company car or car allowance. Join a leading healthcare provider supporting cancer care in the community.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration (Adult Nurse/RGN).
• Experience delivering chemotherapy or SACT treatments.
• Competency in administration of cytotoxic drugs.
• Strong cannulation and venous access skills.
• Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and chemotherapy in patients' homes.
• Administering oncology/haematology treatments safely per guidelines.
• Conducting holistic assessments before each treatment.
• Cannulation, venepuncture and vascular access management.
• Monitor patients and respond to adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records and documentation.
• Provide education, reassurance and ongoing support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with hospitals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
