ATA Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the South of England with a home-based role. You will manage key accounts, generate inbound enquiries, and develop new business in engineering sectors.

Typical project values range from £35,000 to £80,000 with a sales cycle of two weeks to three months. The territory targets £1.4 million annually, with 6–8 client visits per week and a strong consultative selling approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop customer relationships across the South of England.
• Respond to and convert incoming project enquiries.
• Conduct customer meetings and site surveys.
• Understand manufacturing processes and operational challenges.
• Develop technically appropriate filtration and extraction solutions.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals.
• Manage projects through the sales cycle from enquiry to order.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.
• Deliver territory sales and profitability targets.
• Identify new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Work with engineering and delivery teams on handovers.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
