Job summary

The National Trust is seeking a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare popular cottages in the south Lakes on changeover days. You’ll ensure the property is pristine, well-presented and welcoming, and you’ll report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing. PPE is provided and you may replace broken items from the store as required.

We value team players who are also capable of working independently, with good organisation and adaptability. Flexible working and support are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience of domestic cleaning in hospitality is helpful.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• On changeover days, clean and prepare holiday cottages to a pristine standard.
• Ensure cottages are well-presented and welcoming for guests.
• Keep an eye out for anything not as it should be and report repairs or odd jobs.
• Replace broken items from store supplies when needed.

Job description

We're looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our popular holiday cottages in the south Lakes., On changeover days, you'll make sure that everything's pristine and ready for the next guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well-presented and welcoming. We'd also like you to keep an eye out for anything that's not as it should be, and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing. If you need to, you'll also replace any broken items from the store supplies. Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for all teams, and extra measures are in place to protect staff.
