Job summary

Away Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Sandy Balls Holiday Village in the New Forest. You will help keep guest accommodations and the park in top condition, carrying out repairs, maintenance, renewals, and improvements across signage, fencing, and fixtures.

As part of a team, you will work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure everything is in good order, including carpentry, painting, landscaping and other trades on-site.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out domestic repairs and maintenance, e.g. tiling, painting, lock repairs etc.
• An understanding of Health & Safety at work
• Driving licence needed

Responsibilities

• Carpentry tasks: repair doors, windows, kitchen units, walls and floors, signage, roofs & gutters and other wooden elements
• Landscaping, including paving and fencing
• Moving and siting caravans, including external plumbing
• Painting, decorating, and tiling
• Maintenance tasks from replacing light bulbs to fixing faulty locks
• On changeover days, perform checks and repairs with other tradespeople
• Support broader maintenance across the park and accommodations
