Job summary

Away Resorts in the New Forest seeks a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the Park Services team and keep the park and accommodation in tip-top condition. You will oversee repairs, renewals, and improvements across the site and drive smooth operations.

The role requires budget awareness, health & safety compliance, and a willingness to work bank holidays, evenings, and weekends. A full UK driving license is essential and you will lead by example with practical skills and strong people

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team of trades/general assistants.
• Proven track record in property maintenance and facilities management.
• Understanding of budgets, P&L, purchasing systems and safety at work.
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent; full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor landscaping to high standards.
• Allocate maintenance tasks; from bulbs to locks and keys.
• Carry out maintenance checks and repairs on changeover days with other trades.
• Drive to complete tasks with initiative and reliability.
• Respond to issues quickly to restore order and safety.
