The National Trust is seeking a Holidays Operation Assistant to clean and prepare cottages at Horsey Windpump and other Norfolk locations. You will perform changeover cleaning to ensure the property is pristine and welcoming for guests, often working alone but with a wider team for larger cottages.
This is a zero-hour contract with flexible hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays; full PPE is provided and reliable transport is essential.

For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. On changeover days, you’ll make sure that everything’s pristine and ready for the next guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well-presented and welcoming. You will need to keep an eye out for anything that’s not as it should be, and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing. You will mainly be working alone but in larger cottages as part of a team.
Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for all teams, and extra measures are in place to protect staff.
