Job summary

Camp Beaumont is seeking a Camp Management Team Member to lead daily operations during school holidays at Caterham. You will ensure a safe, smooth and engaging camp experience, act as safeguarding lead, and support staff across activities.

The role requires hands-on leadership and strong communication with families and partner schools. Ideal candidates will have Level 3 Childcare qualifications (or current study), be over 18, and bring prior leadership experience in holiday camps.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, schools and staff.
• Confident, hands-on leadership; supports team and day-to-day running of camp.
• Strong safeguarding awareness with ability to identify and report concerns.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site Safeguarding Lead and report incidents.
• Manage staff performance and provide guidance and feedback.
• Oversee day-to-day camp administration and operations.
• Build rapport with parents, schools, staff and children.
• Communicate issues and incidents to Operations Team.
