Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly primary school in Weymouth. You will support teachers, deliver planned learning activities and work with pupils individually and in small groups.

The role is a fixed-term contract for one year, starting ASAP. The successful candidate will be confident in managing groups, promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils reach their potential within an inclusive, nurturing environment.

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next opportunity?

A lovely primary school in Weymouth is looking for a dedicated and confident HLTA to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced education professional who is passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential.

The position is available to start as soon as possible and is offered on a fixed-term contract for one year.

The Role

As an HLTA, you will play an important role within the classroom, working alongside teachers and support staff to provide high-quality learning experiences for pupils.

You will have the opportunity to work with children both individually and in small groups, as well as supporting whole-class learning and delivering planned activities.

The successful candidate will be confident taking responsibility for groups of pupils and, where appropriate, delivering lessons or learning activities in the absence of the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities
