Job summary

Smile Education invites applications for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a school in Stockton-on-Tees. This 35.5 hours per week role is term-time only plus 5 days, paying £110 per day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a HLTA or in a similar senior Teaching Assistant role
• Recent experience working within a school setting
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service
• Contactable school references
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• The ability to support learning, behaviour management and pupil progress
• Applicants without the relevant qualifications will not be considered for this position
