Randstad UK Beckenham is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our primary academy team for a January start. You will deliver planned cover lessons, support pupils, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.

HLTA status is essential and you will need prior education setting experience, two employment references, and an enhanced DBS. Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• HLTA status is essential.
• Previous experience in an education setting.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK is essential (sponsorship is not available).
• Strong knowledge of the UK Primary curriculum.

Responsabilités

• Delivering pre-planned cover lessons and small group interventions across the primary phase.
• Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for pupils.
• Assess student progress during cover lessons and provide feedback to class teachers.
• Communicate with, engage, and encourage children with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain consistent classroom and behaviour management.
• Assist with pastoral care and maintain a safe, inclusive learning space.
