Horbury Primary Academy is seeking a proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will work with teaching staff to support high-quality learning, promote inclusion, and help pupils reach their full potential both academically and personally.

The HLTA will provide PPA cover for teachers, lead whole-class activities, and support planning, delivery, and assessment across the academy. A calm, collaborative approach to behaviour management is essential.

Qualifications

• HLTA status (Level 4) or working towards.
• Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide PPA cover for class teachers and lead whole‑class learning.
• Support planning, delivery and assessment to ensure engaging lessons.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote an inclusive learning environment.
