Job summary

The Federation Abbey Infant and Junior School is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to join our committed and dedicated team. The post may involve working across the primary age range and delivering high-quality support to pupils during PPA, planned absences and emergency cover.

You will hold an HLTA qualification, demonstrate excellent English and Maths, build strong relationships with pupils and staff, and contribute to a high standard of education.

Qualifications

• Holds HLTA qualification.
• Experience across the primary age range Educational establishment.
• Excellent education levels in English and Maths.
• Can confidently lead whole-class learning during PPA, planned absence, and emergency cover.
• Brings energy, initiative, and a positive attitude to every day.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole-class learning during PPA, planned absence and emergency cover.
• Provide general classroom support and maintain pupil welfare.
• Administer basic first aid when required (training provided).
