Horrington Primary School is seeking an HLTA to work with teachers, teaching assistants, leadership and other staff to help every pupil reach their potential.

The role involves regular PPA cover, covering absences and supporting the school’s inclusive learning environment, including emotional and developmental needs. You will collaborate with hard-working teams to ensure excellent learning experiences for all children.

Qualifications

• HLTA experience or equivalent
• Able to support class learning across year groups
• Comfortable covering teacher absence and leadership release time
• Strong communication with parents and carers

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular PPA cover teaching for teachers
• Support classes by covering teacher absence and leadership release time across the school
• Meet the academic, developmental and emotional needs of children
• Create a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning and inclusion for all children
• Build and maintain relationships with parents, carers and other childcare professionals
