Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Croydon is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to lead lessons and support pupils across several year groups. The role is full-time, term-time only, with daily pay of £120-£140.

You will support planning and delivery, monitor progress, and assist pupils with additional learning needs. An Enhanced DBS is usually required and ASAP start offered.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or significant classroom support experience.
• Experience in a primary or secondary school.
• Confident leading lessons independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support learning across a range of year groups and abilities.
• Lead small group interventions to help pupils achieve targets.
• Work with teachers to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs to access the curriculum.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
