Job summary

Kilnwood Vale Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join on a permanent basis. You’ll support pupils, deliver lessons where needed, and help create stimulating learning experiences in a caring environment.

Working with the Headteacher and staff, you’ll lead planned activities, provide targeted support, and contribute to inclusive teaching that helps every child thrive and reach their potential within GLF Schools.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above and HLTA qualification.
• Experience supporting and delivering lessons to whole classes.
• Skilled in adapting learning strategies, managing behaviour and supporting pupil development.
• Strong organisational skills for resources, pupil records and planning.
• Excellent communication with colleagues, children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead planned lessons when required and deliver high‑quality learning experiences.
• Provide targeted support to pupils with a range of needs.
• Work closely with the Headteacher and teaching staff.
• Create a positive learning environment where children feel safe and valued.
