Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a primary school in Bedlington on a long-term or short-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

You will lead interventions, provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, deliver planned lessons independently, and ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed. A Level 2/3 qualification in childcare or education, or equivalent hands-on experience, and an enhanced DBS are required.

Qualifications

• A Level 2/3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Excellent organisation, leadership and teamwork skills.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess learning activities.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities
