Old Hall Junior School is seeking a motivated HLTA to join our team. The successful candidate will lead whole-class teaching, support small groups and individuals, and help all pupils reach their potential.

Key duties include cover lessons, planning with teachers, supporting SEND learners, monitoring progress and contributing to reports. A friendly school with strong CPD opportunities and a Westfield Health Scheme is offered.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or equivalent quality required.
• Strong grasp of the primary curriculum and KS experience.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to differentiate learning for individuals or groups.
• Teamwork and effective communication with colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Provide cover lessons and deliver whole-class teaching when needed (PPA cover or short-term absence).
• Collaborate with class teachers to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated activities.
• Support pupils' academic, social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Assist pupils with SEND to access the curriculum effectively.
• Monitor pupil progress, give feedback and contribute to reporting.
• Organise resources and prepare classrooms for learning activities.
• Supervise other support staff when required.
• Participate in school activities, meetings and CPD.
