Job summary

Academics, a leading education specialist agency, is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to join our team in Eastleigh to support in primary school settings. This role involves assisting with classroom activities, promoting pupils' educational and social growth, and helping create a positive, welcoming learning environment that supports every child to reach their potential.

Key responsibilities include providing planned PPA cover, leadership release time, staff training cover, and occasional emergency

Qualifications

• Experience in a teaching assistant role or similar educational setting.
• Qualifications such as Level 4 HLTA certificate or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desirable.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and patience.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned PPA cover, leadership release time, staff training cover, and occasional emergency absence cover.
• Teach lessons planned by a qualified teacher and deliver group interventions to support pupils' learning.
