Job summary

Smile Education is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in the WV11 area. This is a full-time, long-term position starting as soon as possible, with cover across all primary year groups.

The HLTA will deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, support pupils to reach their potential, and work closely with teachers to track progress. The role suits an established HLTA or an aspiring teacher/ECT seeking valuable classroom

Qualifications

• HLTA status or equivalent classroom experience.
• Experience in a primary school setting is required.
• Confidence leading whole-class lessons across primary age ranges.
• Strong classroom management and engagement skills.
• Flexible, proactive approach to supporting learning.

Responsibilities

WV11 Area ASAP Start Full-Time (5 Days per Week) Long-Term Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in the WV11 area. This is a full-time, long-term position starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be comfortable covering lessons across all primary year groups and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. This role would suit an established HLTA or an aspiring teacher/ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience without the pressures of a full-time teaching position.

The Role
