Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a full-time HLTA for a welcoming Primary School in Rotherham. The role starts 1st September and involves whole class cover when teachers are absent, plus delivering planned learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate will also support pupils through small group interventions and 1:1 tuition.

ECTs are encouraged to apply. Ideal applicants will hold HLTA status or QTS (ECTs welcome), have UK primary school experience, and demonstrate strong classroom

Qualifications

• HLTA status, QTS or recognised equivalent qualification
• Experience supporting teaching and learning within a UK Primary School
• Confidence delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Experience leading small group interventions and providing 1:1 tuition
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A positive, proactive and flexible approach to supporting pupils and staff

The school is looking to appoint a full-time HLTA to start on 1st September. The successful HLTA will provide whole class cover in the absence of teachers, deliver planned learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, and support pupils through small group interventions and 1:1 tuition. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience are also encouraged to apply.

The successful HLTA will have:
