Job summary

Academics, a national education recruitment company, is pleased to support a school in Cleckheaton in recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential for a permanent position, offering daily pay of 100–120 and weekly payment.

You will assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons, support students including those with additional needs, supervise classes, assess progress, contribute to IEPs, and help create an inclusive learning

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and teaching strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
• Provide support to students, including those with additional needs, in small groups and one-on-one settings.
• Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Assist in the assessment of student progress and provide feedback.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
• Support the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
