Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in the Bierton area for a full-time temporary-to-permanent role starting September 2026. The position offers £100–£130 per day and weekly pay, with a strong focus on supporting teaching and learning within an inclusive school environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers to plan lessons, adapt learning resources, assess progress, and support students with diverse needs, while maintaining safeguarding standards

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience in a similar school-based role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons, providing focused support to individuals and small groups.
• Assist in developing and adapting learning resources to meet diverse student needs, aligned with the school curriculum goals.
• Help assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to students and teachers, and support the implementation of improvement strategies.
• Promote and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment by applying the school’s behaviour management policies.
• Offer tailored support to students with special educational needs or additional learning requirements, adjusting teaching approaches to varied learning styles.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on educational best practices.
