Academics are working with a remarkable primary school in Havering, London who are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time, permanent role starting September/October 2026.

The school offers career progression, teacher training opportunities, and a supportive environment with a bespoke curriculum. Working Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm term-time only, you will collaborate with class teachers across EYFS to KS2 in a 2-form entry school.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or education degree required.
• Experience as HLTA or Teaching Assistant.
• Experience covering lessons and delivering interventions.

Responsibilities

• Cover lessons during PPA and release time and support learning activities.
• Collaborate with teachers in planning and delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 & KS2.
• Support progression of all children and help achieve educational outcomes.
