Academics are working with a fantastic primary school in Havering, London who are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role to start in September or October 2026.

This role involves supporting planning and delivery across EYFS to KS2, covering lessons during PPA, and helping pupils achieve their educational outcomes. The school offers teacher training, excellent CPD and a friendly, well-resourced environment with a 2 form entry.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or relevant education degree required.
• Experience as HLTA or Teaching Assistant is essential.
• Experience covering classes or delivering interventions desirable.
• Experience working with SEN and all abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover lessons during PPA and release time across EYFS to KS2.
• Support teaching and learning activities and collaborate with teachers.
• Deliver lessons and interventions to help pupils progress and achieve outcomes.
