Job summary

Renaissance Education is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. The role supports students across Key Stages 3 and 4, working with teachers to deliver high-quality learning and promote positive behaviour in a safe, inclusive environment.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years' HLTA experience and knowledge of ASC/SEMH needs. The post is based in an on-site school setting with a supportive safeguarding culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience working with children in an HLTA role.
• Experience supporting students with ASC/SEMH needs is essential.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality learning support in busy school settings.
• Strong collaboration with teachers and pastoral teams to raise attainment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality learning support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusive classroom culture.
• Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to remove barriers to learning.
• Support individual and small-group interventions as needed.
