Job summary

Greyfriars Catholic School is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Attendance and Inclusion) to support students with attendance, SEMH and SEND needs. You will coordinate bespoke intervention programmes, work with the SENCO and Attendance Team, and help reintegrate learners into mainstream lessons.

The role requires warmth, high expectations, strong organisational skills and a commitment to safeguarding in an inclusive Catholic school.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND, SEMH or attendance issues.
• Proven ability to deliver small-group interventions.
• Strong safeguarding awareness and pastoral support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver bespoke programmes for students with complex needs.
• Deliver high-quality intervention and pastoral support within the Attendance and Inclusion Hub.
• Collaborate with SENCO and staff to remove barriers to learning.
• Support attendance initiatives and reintegration into mainstream learning.
