Cabot Primary School in St Paul’s is seeking a caring Higher Level Teaching Assistant to help pupils develop communication and social interaction skills. You will work with pupils in small groups, delivering targeted interventions and play-based sessions, and collaborate with teaching staff to share progress with families.

We are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team and support pupils in developing their communication and social interaction skills.
The successful candidate will work with pupils in a small group setting, providing targeted support through engaging activities, interventions and play-based sessions.
Support pupils to develop their communication and interaction skills.
Plan and deliver appropriate communication interventions.
Lead small group play sessions that encourage social communication and positive interaction.
Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils.
Adapt activities to meet individual pupils’ needs and abilities.
Monitor pupils’ progress and share relevant information with colleagues.
Liaise with parents and carers where appropriate to support pupils’ communication development.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to provide consistent support.
Hours: 08:30-16:30 Mon -Fri, Term Time Only.
