Philip Southcote School’s Southcote Centre in Epsom and Ewell is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide targeted 1:1 support and assist pupils under teachers and senior leaders to raise achievement.

The role requires a Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification, GCSE English and Maths, and a commitment to safeguarding. Term-time, 35 hours per week, with on-site parking and access to training and wellbeing benefits.

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at the Southcote Centre (part of Philip Southcote School), based at Epsom and Ewell High School, within the Bourne Education Trust.

Our HLTAs are responsible for providing highly effective, targeted provision and care to pupils, under the guidance of Teachers and Senior Leaders, in order to raise standards of achievement for pupils to become independent learners.

Philip Southcote Satellite Centres: Our centres are based within mainstream secondary schools. Chertsey High School, Chertsey, Epsom and Ewell High School and Kings International School, Camberley.

Details

Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Southcote Centre, Epsom and Ewell High School, Ruxley Lane, West Ewell, Ewell, Surrey

Contract: Term time, temporary. This role is linked to funding for a named student.

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00-15.30, 37 weeks per year.
