Job summary

Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to support Thames Ditton Junior School in delivering high-quality learning. The role is fixed-term until 31 August 2027, with term-time hours 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will lead a class, implement a planned programme and assess impact, work as part of a supportive team, and bring excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification and/or experience working with children is essential.
  • French language ability is advantageous but not required.

Job description

Fixed term contract until 31st August 2027

We are looking for an enthusiastic HLTA to support our Teachers in delivering high quality learning at Thames Ditton Junior School. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of our pupils. A relevant qualification and/or previous experience working with children is essential. This role is also well suited to someone considering a career in teaching who wishes to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting teaching and learning. Fluency in French would be an advantage, although it is not essential.

Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership is a small, friendly multi academy trust located on the borders of South West London between Surbiton and Esher, Surrey; and includes a 3 form entry primary school, 3 form entry junior school and a co-educational secondary academy supporting students from 11-18 years.
