Job summary

Cuddington Croft Primary School and Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive, inclusive team on a temporary basis with potential for permanency. The role focuses on adding impact across schools, delivering planned lessons, and supporting pupils with diverse needs.

Qualifications

  • Hold relevant qualifications, including GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above and an HLTA qualification.
  • Experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning.
  • Skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour, and supporting pupils' development.
  • Strong organisational skills for preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with colleagues, children, and parents.
  • Motivated, flexible, and committed to safeguarding.

Cuddington Croft Primary School are seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and inclusive team on a temporary basis (with the potential to become permanent)

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning, both individually and in small groups, ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality, inclusive education. This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering planned lessons, supporting children with a range of needs, and committed to fostering a safe, engaging and positive learning environment. As part of GLF Schools, you'll also benefit from opportunities for professional development and collaboration across a wider network of supportive professionals.

What we are looking for

About Cuddington Croft

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Cuddington Croft, our cluster includes the following other schools; The Vale Primary School, Banstead Infant School, Warren Mead Infant and Junior Schools, Danetree Primary School and Floreat Wandsworth Primary School.

The Details

Start Date: January 2027

Salary: GLF Specialist 1 - £28,009 FTE

Actual Salary: £8,943.31

Hours: 13.5hrs a week, 2 days a week (must include a Wednesday)8.30am - 3.45pm (38.6 weeks per year)
