Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to join a welcoming SEN primary school in Slough (SL2), supporting children aged 2–11 with complex needs, including autism, PMLD, and SLD. As an HLTA, you will lead small group sessions, assist with planning and delivering tailored activities, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of each child.

Contract: Temp to Perm; Salary: £120–£140 per day; Working hours: 8:30 am–4:00 pm; Start: September –

Qualifications

• HLTA status or relevant higher-level qualification.
• Experience supporting SEN pupils, ideally in a specialist setting.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
• Confidence leading small groups and supporting differentiated learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
