Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support children aged 2-11 with complex needs at a SEN primary school in Harrow. You will work with class teachers and the SEN team to deliver tailored activities and learning support in an inclusive setting.

The successful HLTA will lead small groups, assist with lesson planning and differentiation, and promote a positive classroom culture while adhering to safeguarding rules.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or higher-level qualification required.
• Experience supporting SEN pupils, ideally in a specialist setting.
• Patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Confidence leading small groups and supporting differentiated learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Brief Description:

We're seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming SEN primary school supporting children aged 2-11 with complex needs, including autism, PMLD, and SLD.

About the Role:

As an HLTA, you'll work closely with class teachers and the wider SEN team to support pupils' learning and development. You'll lead small group sessions, assist with planning and delivering tailored activities, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of each child.

Requirements:
