Job summary

R&A Education Solutions is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for roles in Gillingham, working with SEN and specialist schools. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, support pupils with ASC, SEMH, ADHD, and complex needs, and lead small group interventions.

The position offers flexible daily work, with competitive rates of £110-£160 per day, and opportunities for daily supply, long-term or permanent roles in the Medway area. DBS required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience as HLTA or in school setting is essential.
• DBS on Update Service (or willingness to obtain) is required.
• Flexible to work across Gillingham and Medway area.
• Passion for helping children with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
