Job summary

R&A Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Primary, Secondary and SEND schools around Gillingham and the Medway area. The role offers flexible or long-term work, with a dedicated local consultant and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable.
• A positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
• Confidence supporting individuals and small groups.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in classrooms across primary, secondary and SEND settings.
• Assist teachers with monitoring progress and behaviour.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and pupil development.
