Pertemps Birmingham Commercial is seeking a skilled HLOP Driver or VNA for a full-time role in Erdington. The position pays £13.40 hourly, with Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 shifts.

Duties include safe operation of VNA or HLOP equipment, precise stock retrieval, and accurate inventory tasks within confined aisles. Candidate must hold an in-date licence for VNA/HLOP operation and follow health and safety rules to maintain a secure warehouse.

Qualifications

• Previous experience using VNA or HLOP equipment (essential).
• In-date, accredited licence or certification for VNA and/or HLOP operation.
• A good eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) equipment within racking systems.
• Accurately retrieving and relocating stock within tight aisle spaces.
• Supporting inventory checks and replenishment of stock.
• Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a secure working area.
• Operating HLOP equipment to pick stock from high storage locations.
• Ensuring accurate and efficient picking and packing of customer orders.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in your working area.
