Pertemps TM is recruiting an HIU Service / Breakdown Engineer for a mobile role covering London. You will service, maintain and repair Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and related district heating equipment, performing PPMs and reactive repairs to ensure safe, efficient heating and hot water on modern residential and mixed-use developments.

Role requires strong mechanical plantroom experience, fault-finding skills, and a full UK driving licence.

• Strong mechanical plantroom experience is essential.

• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Location : London (Mobile Role)

Salary

£42,000 - £45,000 Basic + Up to 10% Monthly Performance Bonus

About the Company

An established and growing building services specialist with a team of around 27 employees, delivering maintenance, design, installation and project solutions across London. The business specialises in district heat networks and works on a range of mixed-use, residential and commercial developments.

Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced HIU Service / Breakdown Engineer to join the team.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and fault finding on Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and associated district heating plant across London.

This is a mobile position working on a variety of modern residential and mixed-use developments, ensuring heating and hot water systems operate safely and efficiently.
