Protocol Education is recruiting a History Teacher for a supportive secondary school in Ashington, Northumberland. The role covers Key Stages 3 and 4 with a focus on inspiring students through History and the wider Humanities.

We welcome both ECTs and experienced teachers. You will join a collaborative Humanities department that values high expectations, inclusion and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• a degree in History or a related Humanities subject.
• Experience teaching History at secondary level.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent subject knowledge.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to raising attainment and achievement.
