Job summary

TeacherActive is currently working with a mainstream secondary school based in Blackwood, Wales, seeking a driven History Teacher on a long-term temporary basis. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE preparation, plan engaging lessons and assess pupil progress to help students reach their potential.

The successful candidate will have QTS with History/Humanities, experience teaching History up to KS4, and strong organisation and lesson-planning skills.

The Headteacher is looking to appoint a driven History Teacher on a long-term temporary basis. The successful History Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including preparing pupils for their GCSE examinations. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, follow the school’s schemes of learning and assess pupil progress to help students achieve their full potential.

The successful History Teacher will have:

• QTS with a History / Humanities specialism
• Experience teaching History up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Great organisational and lesson-planning skills
