Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust in Basildon is seeking a Specialty Doctor - Histopathology to support our pathology team. You will assist the consultants and contribute to a high-quality histopathology service for Basildon Hospital, with duties aligned to your experience and agreed appointment terms.

We are an ambitious department with strong links to specialist services hosted by the trust, offering exposure to a wide case mix and opportunities to develop specialist interests.

Competenze

• GMC registration required.
• MBBS or equivalent recognized by GMC.
• Specialist training certificate in pathology.

Mansioni

• Assist consultants in providing a histopathology service to Basildon Hospital.
• Provide a Histopathology Service of the highest quality.
• Provide cover for colleagues’ annual leave and other authorised absence.
• Further develop the Histopathology Service with colleagues and management representatives.
• Work flexibly with colleagues to achieve hospital agreed planned activity for inpatient and outpatient services.
