East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Histopathology at Conquest Hospital, Hastings. The role involves histology processing, immunohistochemistry, and diagnostic support across sites, with professional registration required.

You will contribute to a high-quality pathology service, support CPD, and work within a busy team committed to patient care and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science or equivalent required.
• State Registration with HCPC.
• Postgraduate IBMS specialist portfolio or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development.
• IBMS diplomas of extended practise expected.

Mansioni

• Operate as a Biomedical Scientist within Histopathology, in line with ISO 15189.
• Deputise for senior staff and assist in workflow management.
• Support documentation and training of junior staff.
