Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories in Wetherby is seeking a Histology Medical Laboratory Technician for the late shift. You will process tissue samples, perform embedding and staining, and support pathologists in diagnostic workups.

The role requires a BSc in a relevant science and prior laboratory experience is a plus. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm, with a comprehensive benefits package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BSc in Biology/Biomedical Science/Animal Science/Zoology or equivalent.
• Experience in a laboratory is preferred.
• Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests.

Responsibilities

• Process tissue samples for Pathologists and support histology workflow.
• Embedding, microtomy, staining and special staining techniques.
• Set up and run tests, maintain SOP compliance and inventory.
